Use the Individual & Team Leaderboards to manage challenge participants, measure engagement, and export user data (Enterprise only).
Individual Leaderboard
The individual leaderboard is the default leaderboard in Pacer for Teams, meaning every participant who enters the P4T Organization will be displayed in the individual leaderboard.

Rankings
The default ranking is based on Today’s Total Steps. The Admin individual leaderboard displays 10 participants at a time, so you will need to use the page scrolling/page jump feature at the bottom of the leaderboard box to find other participants in the leaderboard.
Time Period Sorting
Admins have the ability to sort challenge data by various time parameters:
- Today’s Total Steps
- Yesterday’s Total Steps
- Calendar Month Average Steps/Day
- Custom - Enterprise Only
Data Display/Sort - Enterprise Only
The system defaults to Today’s Total Steps.
- Admins can display Steps, Distance, Calories Burned for Today and Yesterday’s time sorting.
- For Month to Date and Custom sorting, Admins can choose averages as well.
- Click the arrow next to the current category being displayed and choose the measure you’d like.
How to Create Custom Sort Dates - Enterprise Only
- In the Individual Leaderboard time sorting bar, click Custom.
- A start date/end date range will automatically generate. Click anyone on the date range to open up the calendar.
- Click the desired start date for your sort, which will become surrounded by a blue box.
- Click the desired end date for your sort, which will become surrounded by a blue box.
- The calendar will close and the selected date range will be valid. You are free to change the dates whenever you wish by repeating these steps.
Display Manually Added Data
Admins have the option to allow/disallow data that participants have added manually to their Pacer account for the current Pacer for Teams challenge. The default setting is Off/No.
If Allow Manual Data Entry is On, a column will appear in the leaderboard.
When an Admin uses the Export Report function in Pacer for Teams with the Manual Add Data function turned on, the system will create separate data pages:
- Total - the sum of data recorded by the phone and the user’s manual data entries.
- Recorded - data recorded by the user’s phone, or wearable.
- Manually Added - user’s manual data entries.
Leaderboard Data Display Troubleshooting
If an Admin or participant notices her/his data is not accurate:
- The participant should relaunch the Pacer app, enter the Pacer for Teams challenge, access the leaderboard, and drag down on the screen to force push the data to the Pacer Health servers.
- Admins should refresh their browser, or close and re-open the P4T Admin platform.
- If the issue persists, contact your Pacer representative, or use the Feedback portal in the Pacer app to directly contact Pacer Support.
Participant Last Updated Column
This category allows Admins to monitor participant engagement. The update time displayed is the last time the participant launched the Pacer app, allowing the app to collect the most recent fitness data and send it to the servers to reflect on the challenge leaderboards.
Note: It is advised that participants launch Pacer at least once a day to ensure the leaderboards are up-to-date. After 3 days, the Pacer for Teams Admin system will display “More than 3 days” in the column. If this happens, it’s time to contact the participant and encourage them to launch the App.
Individual Leaderboard Sorting by Team - Enterprise Only
If you’d like to see how participants in a team compare to each other in the current challenge, you can sort the Individual Leaderboard by using the team sorting feature.
- The default setting is All Teams. Just under the green Export data button, click All Teams.
- Select the appropriate team from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Export data button to run a report on that particular team, or take a screenshot and share.
- Choose All Teams from the dropdown box to reset the leaderboard.
Team Leaderboard - Enterprise Only
If teams have been created in the P4T Organization, the Team Leaderboard will be active and sortable, and operates the same way as the Individual Leaderboard.
- If a Pacer for Teams Enterprise subscription has not been activated, or has ended, the account will revert to the Free Version and the Team Leaderboard will be disabled.
- Any sorting filters applied to the Individual Leaderboard will not be automatically applied to the Team Leaderboard. Admins must choose sorting filters for the Team Leaderboard separately.
- Team data in the export reports will generate based on the sorting criteria in the Individual Leaderboard. The Team Leaderboard sorting is for visual purposes only.
If Manually Added Data is allowed, the column will appear on the right side of the leaderboard.
