A critical aspect of managing a P4T organization is your org code. By default, it can consist of letters and numbers (ex. AA00000). It has a corresponding invite link and QR scan code for participants to join the org and participate in virtual challenges. P4T Support also uses it to troubleshoot your account.
You will see your org code in the top left corner of the screen when you log into the admin platform. It will either be your default org code (AA00000) or your most recent code. P4T org owners can change the org code to something participants will more easily remember or associate with an organization's name or challenge.
1. Click the Settings icon/button next to the org code to access your org settings. Your org's key information is in the first box.
2. Your org code is displayed in your org description. Click the Change button.
If you do not see the Change button, you are logged in as an additional admin and not as the account owner. Sign in with the account owner's username and password, or contact the org owner. If your org owner has left your company/organization, please contact teams@mypacer.com.
3. Change the code to whatever you'd like. Org codes are not case-sensitive. They should only be 6-16 characters, letters (a-z, A-Z), and numbers (0-9). The shorter, the better, in case participants use it to join your challenge(s).
4. Click Save Changes.
The new org code is now valid, and your org code, link, and QR code have been automatically changed in the Invite Participants Menu. Click the blue button to access the new credentials. Note: Your Participant Onboarding Guide will reflect the org code changes, making any old guides you downloaded/shared obsolete.
