If you've chosen Google Fit as your primary data source, and the app is recording your steps correctly but the data won't sync to Pacer, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
1. Turn off and turn on your phone, or reboot the phone system according to your phone's rebooting sequence.
2. Try with another internet connection and see if the syncing initiates.
3. Check your Gmail mailbox to see if you have received an email from no-reply@accounts.google.com and entitled “Security Alert”.
If you have received a Security Alert email, click the blue Check activity button in the email.
On the next screen, choose Yes, It was me. After the authentication, Pacer should be able to pull data from your Google Fit.
* Important Notice about Syncing Pacer with Google Fit:
Google will terminate Google Fit app service by the end of 2024 and has already stopped regular maintenance. Therefore, data syncing might not be stable and we unfortunately cannot guarantee full syncing services before the termination date.
You can still try to sync Pacer with Google Fit in the meantime. If you encounter any data syncing issues, please try the following troubleshooting solutions:
-
Close down Pacer on your Android device and reopen.
-
Disconnect with Google Fit and reconnect.
-
Reboot your phone.
