Your account information and data are securely stored in the cloud. To ensure that all your information and data are properly downloaded to your device upon signing in, it is imperative that you log into the correct account.
Pacer provides multiple options for account creation:
- You may register using an email address and password.
- Alternatively, you may use a social account such as Facebook or Google.
To access the correct account, it is essential to recall the registration method you used on the old phone and to employ the same method for logging in on the new phone.
Verify the Registration Method of Your Pacer Account on Your Previous Device
Initially, please verify the method used to create your Pacer account on your previous device. It is essential to log in using the same method on your new device to access your account and retrieve your historical data.
- On the home screen, select the avatar located in the upper left corner.
- Within the sidebar menu, select the Settings option at the bottom.
- On the Settings page, locate the Email section:
If the Email option is absent, it indicates that you have not yet created a Pacer account. Without a Pacer account, your user information and history cannot be transferred to another device, and data recovery will not be possible if the application is removed.
Please create a Pacer account immediately to ensure your data is securely preserved.
If no email address is displayed following the Email option, this signifies that you registered using a Facebook account and opted not to share your Facebook email.
You may log in on your new device using the same Facebook account.
- If an email address is displayed, please take note of it.
- Review the Password field located below the Email entry:
If the option reads Change Password, an email and password combination exists for your account.
You may log in on your new device using your email and password. If you have forgotten your password, it can be reset here.
- If the option reads Set Password, your Pacer account was created via a third-party social login.
- You may select Connect Account below to view linked third-party accounts and subsequently log in on the new device using the corresponding account.
- Alternatively, select Set Password to establish a password for your email, enabling login via email and password on the new device.
The following sections outline the sign-in process to assist you in accessing your account on your new Android Phone.
1) Log in with Google Account
If your Pacer account was created using your Google account, you may select Continue with Google on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Continue with Google.
- On the Sign in with Google page, choose the Google account you used when creating your Pacer account.
- If a Pacer account was previously created with this Google account, your data and history will begin downloading. Once complete, you may continue using Pacer.
- If the selected Google account has not been used to create a Pacer account, an error message will indicate this; please try another Google account or a different login method.
2) Log in with Facebook
If your Pacer account was created using your Facebook account, you may select Continue with Facebook on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Continue with Facebook.
- In the prompt stating “Pacer wants to use facebook.com to sign in,” select Continue.
- On the Facebook login page, sign in using the Facebook account associated with your Pacer account (Facebook may require identity verification).
- If a Pacer account was previously created with this Facebook account, your information and history will be downloaded. Upon completion, you may continue using Pacer.
- If no Pacer account is linked to this Facebook account, an error message will indicate this; please attempt an alternative login method.
3) Log in with Email
If your Pacer account was created using an email address and password, or if you established a password after creating your Pacer account via a social account, you may select Log in with Email on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Log in with Email.
- On the Log in with Email page, enter the email address and password associated with your Pacer account. If you have forgotten your password, click Click here to reset it.
- Upon entering the correct email address and password, your information and history will begin downloading. Once complete, you may continue using Pacer as usual.
- If the email address or password entered is incorrect, an error message will be displayed. Please try another email address or password.
