The Android operating system can prevent Pacer from running in the background, which will result in lost steps/distance. We suggest users open Pacer at least once a day, preferably in the morning, to ensure the app can operate. It is also advised to launch Pacer several times a day to prevent the system from shutting down the app.
Android devices and systems vary a lot, and different types of Android phones have different system settings. Some system settings may affect Pacer's performance. Please refer to the troubleshooting tips below if your Pacer is not working properly. If you find a better solution, please email support@mypacer.com and we will upgrade your account to Premium!
