Pacer Groups are a great way to organize step challenges and to keep your participants engaged. This article will give you some pointers on how to make sure you are getting the most out of your Groups.
Make sure all of your group information is complete.
A high quality cover image, icon, display name and description will help all potential group members understand what your Group is about. Setting a location will let nearby users find your group. And if your Group is part of a club, business, meet-up or online brand, be sure to include a link to your website so Pacer users can find you outside of Pacer.
Note that Groups which do not complete all of their Group profile information will not be recommended to other Pacer users.
Post a Welcome Note.
Keep your group members engaged. Posting an authentic welcome note to your Group feed is a great way to get members engaged and encourages new members to participate.
Invite at Least 5 Members.
The more members you have, the more active your group will be. Groups with fewer than 5 members will not be considered active enough to be recommended to other Pacer users. So if you want to grow your Pacer group, make sure you share your Group link and start inviting members on your own.
Organize a Virtual Event.
Get your group members moving with fun and simple online fitness challenges.
Challenges can be joined by existing group members and non-group members and are a great way to grow your group audience.
Get Your Group Verified.
If you represent an official organization, club, business or online brand, you may consider applying for a "Blue Checkmark" badge. This badge would increase your exposure within the Pacer app and let users know that your group is high quality.
