If someone in your Group/Club is bothering you, there are three practical levels of control in Pacer:
- Block / Report the member (best if available in your app)
- Limit who can view or interact with you (privacy controls)
Because the exact buttons can vary by app version, this article includes “If you see…” steps plus a reliable fallback for iOS/Android system settings.
1) Block (or Report) the Member
Use this when you want to stop seeing someone and/or stop them from interacting with you.
- Open the Group/Club.
- Go to the Members list.
- Tap the person’s profile.
- Look for a menu such as “⋯”, “More”, or a gear icon.
- If available, tap Block (and/or Report).
If you do not see “Block”
- Your current app build may not support per-member blocking from that screen.
- Use Privacy Settings + Support Report steps below (Sections 2 and 3).
2) Restrict Who Can View Your Profile (Reduces Unwanted Interactions)
If you can’t block someone (or you want a lighter solution), tightening profile visibility helps a lot.
- Set your Profile visibility to Follower, so only followers can view your profile and others must send a follow request.
This doesn’t “mute” a specific person, but it prevents many drive-by interactions and reduces exposure.
3) If Someone Is Harassing You: Collect Proof and Contact Support
If the behavior is abusive, threatening, or persistent, report it and send details to support.
What to include
- The member’s username/profile link (or screenshot)
- Screenshots of messages/posts (include dates/times)
- Your Group/Club ID + name
How to contact support (in-app)
- Pacer app → Settings → Support & Feedback → Submit a request
4) If You’re a Group/Club Admin
Admins typically have additional tools (like removing a member). If you’re not an admin and you can’t block, ask the admin to take action, and also follow Section 3.
