Occasionally, you may be required to sign back into your Pacer account, such as in the following situations:
- You have logged out.
- You have deleted and reinstalled the application.
- You have switched to a new device.
Your account information and data are securely stored in the cloud. To ensure that all your information and data are properly downloaded to your device upon signing in, it is imperative that you log into the correct account.
Pacer provides multiple options for account creation:
- You may register using an email address and password.
- Alternatively, you may use a social account such as Apple, Facebook, or Google.
To access the correct account, it is essential to recall the registration method you used and to employ the same method for logging in.
The following sections outline the sign-in process to assist you in accessing your account.
1) Recent Logins (iOS)
If you are an iOS user and have previously registered or logged in on the same device, the initial screen displayed upon launching Pacer will be the Recent Logins page.
This page displays the Pacer accounts registered or accessed on this device, including the account’s avatar, username, and linked email address.
- Select the account you wish to access to proceed to its login page.
- On the login page, all available sign-in methods for that account will be presented. Please verify that this is the desired Pacer account, then select your preferred login method.
If the Recent Logins list does not include the account you intend to use, tap Use a Different Account at the bottom of the page. On the subsequent screen, you may choose to:
- Log In – access all available methods to sign into a Pacer account.
- Get Started – create a new Pacer account without logging in.
2) Google Password Manager (Android)
If you are an Android user with Google Password Manager enabled on your Google account, and you have previously registered or signed into a Pacer account on a device using this Google account (either via Google sign-in or email and password), a Google Password Manager prompt will appear when you launch Pacer.
This prompt displays Pacer login credentials saved to that Google account, with each entry showing the associated email address.
- Select the credential corresponding to the desired account to be signed in automatically.
If the Google Password Manager prompt does not list the Pacer account you require, tap Cancel to dismiss it and proceed to Pacer’s landing page. From there, you may:
- Log In – access all available login methods for a Pacer account.
- Start Using Pacer – create a new Pacer account without logging in.
3) Log in with Apple (iOS only)
If your Pacer account was established using your Apple Account, you may select Continue with Apple on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Continue with Apple.
- In the Sign in with Apple prompt, tap Sign In.
- If a Pacer account was previously created with this Apple account, your data and history will be downloaded. Upon completion, you may continue using Pacer as usual.
- If no Pacer account is linked to this Apple account, an error message will indicate this; please attempt an alternative sign-in method.
4) Log in with Google Account
If your Pacer account was created using your Google account, you may select Continue with Google on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Continue with Google.
- In the prompt stating “Pacer wants to use google.com to sign in,” select Continue.
- On the Sign in with Google page, choose the Google account you used when creating your Pacer account.
- If a Pacer account was previously created with this Google account, your data and history will begin downloading. Once complete, you may continue using Pacer.
- If the selected Google account has not been used to create a Pacer account, an error message will indicate this; please try another Google account or a different login method.
5) Log in with Facebook
If your Pacer account was created using your Facebook account, you may select Continue with Facebook on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Continue with Facebook.
- In the prompt stating “Pacer wants to use facebook.com to sign in,” select Continue.
- On the Facebook login page, sign in using the Facebook account associated with your Pacer account (Facebook may require identity verification).
- If a Pacer account was previously created with this Facebook account, your information and history will be downloaded. Upon completion, you may continue using Pacer.
- If no Pacer account is linked to this Facebook account, an error message will indicate this; please attempt an alternative login method.
6) Log in with Email
If your Pacer account was created using an email address and password, or if you established a password after creating your Pacer account via a social account, you may select Log in with Email on the login page to access your Pacer account.
- Tap Log in with Email.
- On the Log in with Email page, enter the email address and password associated with your Pacer account. If you have forgotten your password, click Click here to reset it.
- Upon entering the correct email address and password, your information and history will begin downloading. Once complete, you may continue using Pacer as usual.
- If the email address or password entered is incorrect, an error message will be displayed. Please try another email address or password.
