Weekly Boost is a special bonus in Pacer Leagues that gives you extra League points by applying a personalized multiplier to your activity. It’s part of the broader “Points Boost” system, which also includes Daily Boosts and Go Outside Boosts. Weekly Boosts are designed to keep you motivated, especially if you’re building up your walking habits, by tailoring the bonus to your activity level.
Why use Weekly Boost?
- Personalized motivation – The Weekly Boost uses AI to calculate a points multiplier based on your recent activity. This means the bonus fits your pace, encouraging gradual improvement rather than sudden jumps.
- Bonus points – You can earn up to 200 additional points each week from boosts (Daily, Weekly, Go Outside and Virtual Adventures combined) , helping you climb the League leaderboard faster.
- Fairness for all – To keep competition balanced, the Weekly Boost is available only if your average steps are below 10,000 per day. Once you’re consistently walking more, you may not need this extra help.
Who qualifies for Weekly Boost?
- Your average daily steps must be under 10,000.
- If you’re in Gold League or above, you need a Premium membership to use Weekly Boost.
- You can find the Weekly Boost in the Pacer Shop, along with other boosts.
Note: If your daily average rises above 10,000 steps, the Weekly Boost will no longer be available until your average drops below that threshold.
How does Weekly Boost work?
- Purchase or unlock the boost
- Open Pacer and go to the Shop (you may see a “Boosts” section).
- Select Weekly Boost and follow the prompts to purchase or redeem it. (If you’re in Gold League or higher, ensure your Premium membership is active.)
- AI‑generated multiplier
- After activation, Pacer’s AI reviews your recent step history and assigns a personalized multiplier.
- The lower your average steps (below 10k/day), the bigger your multiplier may be. This encourages gradual improvement.
- Automatic application
- The multiplier is applied to all League points you earn during the current weekly cycle.
- You don’t need to manually “use” the boost; it runs in the background, multiplying your points for that week.
- Weekly reset
- At the start of each new League week, the previous boost expires.
- If you still qualify, you can purchase or unlock a new Weekly Boost for the next cycle.
How is Weekly Boost different from Daily Boost?
- Weekly Boost applies a personalized multiplier to your points for the entire week, based on your overall activity.
- Daily Boost is a shorter, one‑time bonus: when activated, it doubles the League points you earn from GPS or treadmill walks for up to 30 minutes, and must be used on the same day it’s unlocked.
- Both boosts count toward the weekly 200‑point bonus cap, so you can combine them but cannot exceed the cap.
Tips for getting the most out of Weekly Boost
- Plan your walks – Since the boost is weekly, try to spread your walking or running throughout the week to make the most of the multiplier.
- Keep your average below 10k steps – If you’re trying to qualify, track your daily averages. Walking more is great, but crossing 10k/day will make you ineligible.
- Combine with other boosts – Use Daily Boosts and Go Outside Boosts strategically for short‑term surges, keeping the 200‑point weekly bonus limit in mind.
