What Information Can Admins See in a Pacer for Teams Organization?

When you join a Pacer for Teams Organization, the organization’s admin(s) can view certain information in the Pacer for Teams web admin dashboard so they can run challenges, manage participation, and report results.

 

What an admin can see is primarily challenge-related (your progress and engagement) plus a small set of organization membership details.

 

What admins can see

1) Your organization profile details

Admins can see:

  • Display name 
  • Email address 
  • Daily exercise summaries (a daily summary of your activity used for reporting/challenges)

2) Your challenge participation & progress

In the Pacer for Teams dashboard, admins can track:

  • Steps 
  • Distance 
  • Challenge completion / progress toward goals 
  • Leaderboards (individual and team standings)

3) Reports and exports (challenge activity data)

If your organization’s challenge uses social features, admins may be able to view/export social feed data related to the challenge (posts and engagement created inside the challenge experience).

 

5) Admin announcements sent to participants

Admins can send organization/challenge announcements (including rich content like photos and links) as in-app notifications to participants.

 

What admins typically do not have access to

Admins’ visibility is limited to what Pacer provides through the organization/admin system (membership + summaries + challenge reporting). In general:

  • Admins do not get direct access to your phone’s sensors or raw device data. 
  • If you connect Pacer to third-party services (e.g., Apple Health / Google Fit), that data sharing occurs with your consent and can be revoked by disconnecting integrations.

You can revoke the organization admins’ access by removing yourself from the organization (leaving the Pacer for Teams Organization).
