If you want Pacer to remove your personal data, the fastest method is to delete your Pacer account from inside the app. Account deletion is permanent and will remove your account-related data from Pacer’s systems.
Pacer also supports privacy requests (access/correction/deletion) via email if you can’t complete the request yourself.
Option 1 (Recommended): Delete your Pacer account in the app (removes account data)
Important
- Account deletion is irrevocable. Once deleted, your data can’t be recovered.
- To prevent fraud, Pacer only processes deletion requests for accounts with a valid, verified email (you’ll be prompted to verify if needed).
- Pacer begins processing after confirmation and deletes account-related data within 14 days.
Steps (iOS & Android)
- Open Pacer
- Tap your Profile icon (top-left)
- Go to Settings
- Open Help & Support
- Android note: this may appear as Support & Feedback
- Tap Delete Account
- If prompted, set and verify your email
- Check your email and follow the confirmation instructions
- After confirming, your account is marked for deletion and you’ll be logged out on all devices
Premium subscription warning (very important)
Deleting your Pacer account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel it through Apple Subscriptions or Google Play.
Option 2: Request deletion or other privacy actions by email (if you can’t do it in-app)
If you are unable to delete your account in-app (for example, you can’t access your account), you can submit a privacy request by emailing Pacer support.

- Pacer may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.
What to include in your email
To help the team locate and verify your account quickly, include:
- Your Pacer account email (or the email you believe is associated with the account)
- Your Pacer username (if you know it)
- The request type: “Delete my account and personal data” or “Remove specific personal data”
- Your country/region (helps route GDPR/CCPA handling)
- Any relevant context (e.g., you can’t log in, email changed, lost access)
Health data connections: Apple Health / Google Fit and other “Health Services”
If you connected Pacer with Apple Health, Google Fit, or other health services, keep in mind:
- Pacer can only read/write Health Services data if you granted permission, and you can remove that access anytime inside the Health Service settings.
- Deleting your Pacer account removes Pacer’s account data, but does not automatically delete data stored in Apple Health / Google Fit / other third-party services. You may need to manage or delete that data directly in those services.
What happens after you submit a deletion request?
- After you confirm deletion, your Pacer account becomes unusable and you’re logged out everywhere.
- Pacer states it will delete account-related data from its systems within 14 days.
- Some limited information may be retained when required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements (as described in Pacer’s privacy policy).
