Share Oura steps through Health Connect to use them in Pacer.
Oura Ring → Oura app → Health Connect → Pacer
1. Check your Oura setup
Sync your ring with the Oura app on the same Android phone as Pacer.
Oura lists Health Connect support for Gen2, and for Gen3 or later with an active membership. Its Android integration includes Steps export. Check Oura's current compatibility and setup guide.
2. Turn on Health Connect sharing
- Open the menu in the upper-left corner of Oura.
- Go to Settings → Data Sharing → Health Connect.
- Follow any setup prompts and enable the sharing permissions you want. Make sure Oura can write Steps.
- Return to Oura and let the ring sync.
Use Health Connect for this route, not the discontinued Oura Google Fit integration.
3. Finish in Pacer
- Activate Health Connect in Pacer.
- In Choose Wearables, select Oura Ring.
- Return after Oura setup and start the source check.
- When Oura appears, follow the priority guide to make it your preferred activity source if desired.
If Oura is not detected
Look for Steps written by Oura in Health Connect during the past seven days. Sleep or heart-rate records alone will not place Oura in Pacer's recent step-source list.
Review write access in Oura and read access in Pacer, then sync both apps again. See Sync troubleshooting.
