This guide describes the Health Connect route. It is separate from Pacer's existing direct Samsung Health connection. If your current connection works, you do not need to change it just to follow this guide.
Galaxy Watch → Samsung Health on your phone → Health Connect → Pacer
1. Share Samsung Health data
- Sync your Galaxy Watch with Samsung Health on the same Android phone as Pacer.
- In Samsung Health, open Settings → Health Connect and complete setup if prompted.
- Allow Samsung Health to write Steps, along with any other categories you choose.
- Reopen Samsung Health to sync.
Samsung documents this route in its Health Connect integration guide. If you changed permissions outside Samsung Health, reopen Samsung Health afterward, as explained in its integration FAQ.
2. Connect through Pacer
Activate Health Connect in Pacer. In Choose Wearables, select Other wearables if Samsung Health is not listed.
Start the source check after Samsung Health has shared your steps. Recognize Samsung Health as the source; the list does not have to show your Galaxy Watch's model.
Follow the confirmation and priority guide. Put Samsung Health first if it supplies the steps you most want to use.
If steps are missing
Check the step records in Health Connect before retrying Pacer. Sync now in Pacer cannot directly sync your watch.
If you intended to keep using Pacer's direct Samsung Health integration instead, use the existing direct Samsung Health guide.
