Use HUAWEI Health on your iPhone to share activity with Apple Health, then connect Pacer to Apple Health.
HUAWEI wearable → HUAWEI Health → Apple Health → Pacer
Start by syncing your wearable with HUAWEI Health. Check that its recent steps are visible there. For this connection, HUAWEI Health must be able to share Steps with Apple Health.
1. Connect HUAWEI Health to Apple Health
- Open HUAWEI Health and tap Me.
- Select Third-party services, then HealthKit.
- Tap Open Health app.
- Follow the Health permission prompts. Turn on the requested sharing categories, including permission for HUAWEI Health to write Steps, then tap Allow if prompted.
If permissions were already configured, review HUAWEI Health's existing access in Apple Health. If the menu labels differ or HealthKit is unavailable, check the options in your installed iPhone app rather than following Android instructions.
2. Connect in Pacer
- Open Settings → Apps & Devices → Other Wearables, or select Other Wearables in Steps Data Source.
- If Apple Health is not active in Pacer, follow Connect Pacer to Apple Health.
- Select HUAWEI in Choose Wearables if it is not already checked.
- Confirm that you completed the instructions and wait for the recent Steps source check.
- Continue if the source is detected. If Pacer asks whether your device appears in the list, confirm only if you recognize its source. Otherwise choose No and follow the troubleshooting instructions.
If the Open app button displays an App Store page, open HUAWEI Health after installing or updating it and finish its setup before returning to Pacer.
3. Prioritize HUAWEI Health
Use Manage source priorities to place the appropriate HUAWEI Health source first for Steps. Return to Pacer after saving the order and confirm completion.
Pacer remains connected to Apple Health as its primary source. Choosing HUAWEI does not create a HUAWEI-only filter or verify the priority change automatically.
If HUAWEI is not detected
Check the connection in order:
- Sync the wearable to HUAWEI Health and check its recent steps there.
- Check that those Steps have reached Apple Health and that HUAWEI Health's sharing permission is enabled.
- Review Pacer's requested permissions using the Apple Health connection guide.
- Keep the iPhone unlocked, return to Pacer, and retry or use Sync now.
Pacer's list shows recent readable Steps sources, not every app connected to Health. A source name may identify HUAWEI Health rather than the model of your watch. Other types of shared health data do not guarantee that Steps are available.
If your app does not offer Apple Health Steps sharing, Pacer cannot obtain those steps through this method. Contact HUAWEI support for the app-to-Health connection, or Pacer Support if recent steps are already visible in Health but unavailable in Pacer.
