A compatible Amazfit device can share steps with Pacer through its Zepp app and Apple Health.
Amazfit → Zepp → Apple Health → Pacer
Make sure you are using the companion app for your device. Zepp and Zepp Life are different apps; this guide follows the Zepp connection offered in Pacer.
1. Connect Zepp to Apple Health
First open Zepp, sign in, and sync your Amazfit device so its recent activity appears in the app.
- Open Profile in Zepp.
- Look for 3rd-party account linking or Add accounts, then select Apple Health where available.
- Follow the Health sharing prompts, including permission to write Steps, and confirm the connection.
Menu labels can differ by Zepp version. If you do not see this entry, check Zepp's access in Apple Health using the Apple Health app-access instructions, selecting Zepp rather than Pacer. Amazfit's support guidance also describes enabling Zepp as a Health data source.
2. Connect in Pacer
- Go to Settings → Apps & Devices → Other Wearables, or use Other Wearables in Steps Data Source.
- If required, activate Apple Health in Pacer.
- Select Amazfit in Choose Wearables if the brand is not already checked.
- Confirm that you completed the instructions and let Pacer check recent Steps sources.
- Continue when detected. If Pacer asks whether your device is in the list, select Yes only if you recognize the relevant source. Otherwise select No and use the troubleshooting steps.
If Open Zepp App shows an App Store page, open the app after installing or updating it. Viewing its store page does not complete setup.
3. Prioritize Zepp for Steps
Follow Manage source priorities, choosing the Zepp source associated with your Amazfit activity. Save the order in Health, return to Pacer, and confirm completion.
Pacer continues to use Apple Health as the primary source. Selecting Amazfit does not limit the daily total to Amazfit alone.
If Amazfit is not detected
Check where the steps stop appearing:
- Missing in Zepp: sync the wearable with Zepp first.
- Visible in Zepp but missing in Apple Health: check Zepp's Health connection and Steps sharing permission.
- Visible in Apple Health but unavailable in Pacer: check Pacer's requested permissions, then retry or use Sync now.
The source check looks at recent readable Steps, not all data types. Sleep or workout data alone does not establish a Steps source. The list may use the app name rather than your watch model.
If your device uses another companion app, follow Other Wearables setup. Do not choose an unrelated source merely to finish the guide.
