Connect the WHOOP app to Apple Health, then let Pacer use the activity available there.
WHOOP → WHOOP app → Apple Health → Pacer
For step syncing, enable WHOOP's Steps sharing. Sharing sleep, heart rate, or workouts alone does not make WHOOP a Steps source in Pacer.
1. Connect WHOOP to Apple Health
Make sure the WHOOP app is up to date and your device's recent activity has synced to it.
- Open WHOOP → More → App Settings → Integrations.
- Choose Apple Health, then tap Connect.
- Follow the permission prompts. Use Turn on all, or review the individual categories, making sure WHOOP can write Steps to Health.
- Tap Allow to confirm.
WHOOP's Apple Health integration guide explains the settings and notes that Steps export must be enabled.
2. Connect in Pacer
- Open Settings → Apps & Devices → Other Wearables, or select Other Wearables in Steps Data Source.
- If needed, complete Pacer's Apple Health activation.
- Select WHOOP in Choose Wearables if it is not already checked.
- Follow the setup guide and confirm that the instructions are complete. Wait for the source check.
- Continue when WHOOP is detected. If asked whether your device is in the list, select Yes only if you recognize the source; otherwise follow No to troubleshooting.
The Open WHOOP App button may show the App Store page. If so, open WHOOP after installing or updating it and finish its Health connection before returning to Pacer.
3. Give WHOOP priority for Steps
Use Manage source priorities to place WHOOP first for Steps if it is your preferred source. Return to Pacer after saving the change and confirm completion.
Pacer cannot verify your source order. Your primary source remains Apple Health, and your total is not filtered to WHOOP alone.
If WHOOP is missing or your total has not updated
- Check that recent steps are visible in WHOOP and that Steps sharing is enabled.
- Check whether those steps have arrived in Apple Health.
- Review Pacer's requested Health access using the Apple Health connection guide.
- Return to Pacer and retry, or use Sync now after the data has reached Health.
Pacer searches readable Steps from the current local day and the previous six days. Completing setup or having another WHOOP metric in Health is not enough for automatic Steps detection.
Sync now only refreshes Pacer from Apple Health; it cannot force a WHOOP upload. If the steps are absent from Health, resolve the WHOOP sharing connection first. If they are already in Health but missing in Pacer, contact Pacer Support with the message and app versions.
